In developing children's musical ability we aim to foster enjoyment of both performing and composing. Pupils listen to and evaluate their own music and music of other composers. This is another important subject for encouraging the creative skills of children. For Junior aged children who wish to learn an instrument visiting teachers take lessons in guitar, brass, strings, keyboard and wind. The school has a Music Group which takes part in performances as well as school presentations.
