The physical development of children is essential and our P.E. lessons provide experiences in Gymnastics, Dance, Team Games and Games skills, Athletics, Outdoor Activities, and Swimming. Our Hall and the Wincanton Sports Centre are used for P.E. lessons and the playground and field are used for Games. Specialists in particular sports such as short tennis and rugby work with older children. Children are taught swimming and water safety at Wincanton Sports Centre. Our aim is to involve every child in sporting activity.

In recent years our school teams have performed very well against other Primary Schools in local tournaments.
