Horsington School PTFA

The Parent Teacher and Friends Association enables parents and teachers to work together closely in raising money for the school, distributing information and sharing ideas. The P.T.F.A has provided the funding for a variety of equipment for the school including goalposts, musical instruments, play structures and language headphones. It is also funding a trust to ensure that every pupil visits the theatre or an art gallery at least once during their time with the school.

We meet termly and have small committees who organise a variety of fund-raising events including a Firework display, a Christmas bazaar, a Quiz night and a Summer fete. When your child joins the school you automatically become a member and we would love to see you at the meetings. You can help in other ways too and you will be given a questionnaire about any talents, contact or equipment you may have that could be helpful to the school. Ultimately the P.T.F.A exists in order to facilitate relationships and to improve you child's experience at our school. It is a vital part of the success of Horsington School and we look forward to meeting you.
