This subject enables pupils to understand the nature of beliefs and practices and the importance of these in the lives of believers. We aim to enable our pupils to develop a capacity to explore questions of meaning and purpose.

The Religious Education Policy of the school has been drawn up in accordance with the L.E.A's Agreed Syllabus. Under the provisions of the Education Reform Act 1988, any parent wishing to withdraw a child from Religious Education should make a written request to the Headteacher.
